Lemon Garage is a brand we’ve worked with for almost a year.

We started by defining the positioning of the brand, then developing a marketing strategy, and refreshed their online presence. We are now at the stage of creating brand storytelling content.

Our most recent video [WATCH IT HERE] for them captures the actual brand positioning in the first bit, that Lemon Garage is not just a showroom but is a living story, made up of the stories of all the cars and owners it showcases.

But what makes this bit of content interesting is the twist at the end. Part of the brand is a playfulness and humour, not allowing the client experience to become ‘corporate’.

We were able to lay out the positioning and then playfully de-escalate the intensity of it at the end with brand-aligned humour.

Having said what we needed to say, we could then convey by way of the twist at the end that this is not a brand that takes itself so seriously that it can’t laugh at itself, which communicates the team’s approachability and humanness, which is helpful when you’re considering buying a R3 000 000 classic car.
