Humans are born creative.
Traditional formal education systems de-creativize people.
This has been proven by studies conducted by NASA.
They were looking for ways to employ ‘geniuses’.
At 5 years of age, the majority of kids (approx 90%) they observed were able to solve problems with highly creative solutions.
Years later, only 2% of the same kids, now adults, were as creative in their problem-solving solutions.

How to start coming up with creative solutions in and around your business:
- Don’t be controlled by the fear of making mistakes (removal of this fear allows room for ‘what if’ and ‘playing with ideas’)
- Don’t be controlled by the fear of not doing something ‘as everyone else does it’
- Don’t be pressured into looking decisive (fear of looking unsure)
- Explore silly ideas – where can they lead you? A silly idea can serve as a provocation that gets your mind out of the rut and leads you to great ideas.
- Stop worrying about sounding ‘professional’ – that simply means thinking and saying it in an acceptable, safe way.
